It is problematic when hardworking people are in a vicious cycle, where their paychecks are not substantial to adequately meet their needs, and not sufficient to get ahead financially to live their desired life. If you are living paycheck to paycheck, the solution to get ahead financially is not just to hold out for a pay raise or cut out lattes. Anyone working paycheck to paycheck is operating on society’s financial system, which keeps rich people in positions of power, by manipulating and restricting the livelihoods of average workers. The greedy rich are controlling what you do, from the time you wake up in the morning, until you go to sleep. This somewhat inhuman “control” causes the average person to work hard without seeing their dreams realized. To stop living paycheck-to-paycheck, you need to get off society’s financial system and create your own viable system! We live in an era where there is opportunity to operate your own business online with just a cellphone, and therefore it is one promising way to control your life.

Change your spending habits. Right now, greedy business people control the average American’s money decisions, so do not let them control your impulse to buy. Don’t give your hard-earned money to greedy businessmen—buying their gimmicky items and unnecessary services—instead, give to yourself by holding onto your money! Don’t buy the shiny objects and fads that don’t appreciate in value, or the worthless disposable items and entertainment that leave nothing to show for your spending. Instead, use your time to decide how to grow your money. You are not in the mindset to seriously grow your money, if you are at a concert or club every weekend, where your focus is distracted and you are spending money on a temporary experience, expensive meals and drinks, and useless paraphernalia. Habits matter to break the control of big business from your finances. It is necessary to examine all spending habits and swipe out habits that serve you no long-term advantage. If you are spending $5, five days a week on lattes, that’s $1,300 a year! Kick the caffeine habit, save $25 a week, to set up savings for an emergency fund, to relieve you of financial stress. Save even more when you eliminate other purchases and activities from your weekly expenses.
Save your money. Anyone working, deserves to save a portion of their income, yet most working people do not. Saving money allows you to jump on money opportunities in the future—to stop working paycheck to paycheck. Save any large check you receive (tax refunds, job bonuses), to earn more money, perhaps creating a small business or passive income stream—or at the least, let your money earn interest in an interest-bearing account. Make money from a hobby. Create a passive stream of income or a side hustle—from a hobby you love to do in your spare time, or from something you would like to do. Use a portion of your savings to set up a side hustle or passive stream of income. When you create your own source of income, you are the boss, so you get paid like a boss, not like an employee who is only working an hourly wage, paycheck to paycheck.
Do not give to the rich. People remain in a vicious paycheck-to-paycheck cycle when they fall for the scams of the rich, who are always begging for money for unnecessary products, needless entertainment experiences, or bogus causes. Curb your appetite for buying from the rich, by creating your own products, service or humanitarian cause that signifies your values. And when you want to give to the needy, do so directly, when possible, so that you know your money and gifts are received by those who need, not by greedy rich people.
Keep your expenses low. Live below your means, in order to live comfortably, consistently. Don’t try to live like a reality star or baller. The less extravagant you live, the better you position yourself to save for the future, in order to enjoy life, not simple work paycheck to paycheck.
Balance and budget your personal finances like small businesses budget their finances. Don’t let your bills pile up and refuse to look at them. Look at your finances, in order to balance, save and grow your finances—to enjoy your life!
